Our First-Class Library Resource Centre

Our library aims to provide a high quality study support service for students aiming to achieve the highest standards of education. It features a relaxed, enjoyable but purposeful working atmosphere where students are helped and encouraged to take full advantage of the many facilities, including:

13519 items of stock - books (fiction, non-fiction and reference), DVDs, CD Rom/software, revision guides, study aids, talking books, project boxes and baby-sitting packs!

 Spacious study areas
with comfortable seating and excellent lighting.

Computer suite with 18 flat-screen computers with controlled internet access, black/white and colour printers and study tables.

Ready 4 Work area with a selection of careers information, computers and study tables.

30 iPads for use in the classroom.

Plus interactive whiteboard, Oliver Management System, digital camera, TV, video, and a wide range of educational games to borrow and use after school.

The Library is open every break time, also after school until 5.00pm each school day (4.15pm on  Fridays).

The Library Resource Centre (LRC) is staffed by Mrs Bulley (LRC Co-ordinator), Miss Goodier (Librarian/Higher Level Teaching Assistant) and Mr Shires (Librarian/Higher Level Teaching Assistant).
