Ofsted provide report letter following their recent visit
We have received our report from the recent Ofsted visit to St. Hild's. The purpose of the visit was to gather information on how the school had responded to the covid crisis and gain a better understanding of the current curriculum offer.
This visit was conducted under section 8 of the Education Act 2005 (as amended) and in accordance with Ofsted's published procedures for visiting schools while routine inspections are temporarily suspended.
Ofsted?s visits to schools during the autumn term are not inspections. We are not giving graded judgements. We did not undertake the usual range of inspection activities and were unable to check other sources of evidence, such as visits to lessons or looking at pupils? work. The content of the letter (linked below) gives an overview of the discussions about what has happened in St. Hild's school this term began.
The report along with a letter from the chair of our Interim Executive Board, Debi Bailey, can be viewed via the links below.
