SENCO – Required for September 2020

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly skilled and committed Leader in the role of SENCO at St. Hild’s Church of England School.
St. Hild’s is a rapidly improving 11-16 Church of England School. The successful candidate will join St. Hild’s Church of England School on our journey towards achieving our shared vision of delivering a world class education to all of our pupils. This was recently recognised by OFSTED:
“The school provides pupils with strong guidance, so they enjoy their time at school and are considerate of others”.
We seek to provide opportunities for all employees to reach their full potential for the mutual benefit of the successful individual and the children in the school. As a school we pride ourselves on our core Christian values as recently recognised by OFSTED:
"The Christian character of the school has a strong influence on pupils’ development. Pupils have positive attitudes in lessons. "
Our SENCO team currently consists of a dedicated team of specialist staff who teach and support across the age and ability range. We have a higher than national SEND cohort and this is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled practitioner to lead this supportive team with the opportunity to progress to leadership.
Further details and application packs are available from the school and completed application forms should be returned by 1.00pm, Monday, 18th May 2020.
